DT Roll Call...
Dear Friends and Readers,
Our Dear friend Cindy has retired from the DCD, and we need Your Help.

Here are the Details and requirements
We are a small group and work as a team to bring out each post. (Know of anyone who might be interested? please pass this post on.)

1.  DTs make  2 to 3 cards a month
2.  DTs comment on entries according to the last number of the entry, e.g. 3 and 7, (#s 3, 7,13,17, 23, 27...).
3.  We stay in contact on Facebook through our Designer Facebook group.  Almost 100% of our information on upcoming sponsors, DT posting dates, etc is on our Facbook DT group.  Please check frequently,
4. Have cards ready and inserted in Design blog at least a week prior to publishing the post so if anything happens (internet outage or a forgotten post date), the post is still ready to go.  This is not a MUST do, but certainly helps being ready and supporting your other team members.
If you wish to become a Die Cut Diva DT, please email us a thedcdivas@gmail.com with the following information
1.       Name & Blog name & blog address
2.       Why you want to become a DCD Diva
3.       Are you on a team now?  What ones. What is/are the DT blog address(es)?
4.       Have you ever been on a team?  Which one(s). What is/are the DT blog address(es)?   Being on other teams does not count against or for you.  It means you have some experience with being on time with your posts and working with a team.
5.      Sponsors, Arlene is our sponsor coordinator, but if you want or know of someone who will sponsor us let her know, and between you and Arlene, the prospective sponsor will be contacted.   Sometimes a sponsor will provide digital images, stamps or dies, but sometimes not.  .

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Happy Day

Happy Saturday everyone!!

Hope you're have a fun day crafting, I sure did.

Our sponsor for June is Bugaboo Digi Stamp

and our June challenge theme is Summer Fun.

Summer fun to me could very well be the combination of white clouds, blue sky, a bright sun and sipping a cool drink on the beach!  :)

After I printed the "Fried" Chicken image from Bugaboo Digi Stamp, I colored it with coloring pencils.   Then I use the inking tool and sponged distress ink to create the background.  In order to add some perspective, I drew tiny birds and a sail boat.

Top Dog Die - Hot Air Balloon Die Set
Simon Says Stamp cutting die - Wavy Scallop Stitches
Technique Tuesday clear stamp - Bright Idea
Ranger Distress Ink - Antique Linen, Broken China
Ranger Stickles - Orange Slice
Coloring pencils

There is still plenty time to join in the challenge.  Come on over and play.

It's been a real pleasure creating with the talented Design Team on Die Cut Divas.   But my plate is getting too full and I have decided to step down.   Today's post is my last post here, I would like to send a big Thank You to the Divas.  Until next time, happy crafting!!

It's just a Bug Pup Summer

Let's have some SUMMER FUN!  This month, it's all about summer fun.

It's just a Bug Pup Summer and I couldn't resist these pups.  I used a colored image for the card on the right and an uncolored image on the left card, which I colored with Copic markers.  I love a TWO FOR ONE.  I did have similar colors in mind, so it was very easy to color and have fun with this pup.

I used some Novu black dots on the floaters on the hands on both cards.  Fun and cute.

I put a bit of Blue Midnight Nuvo on the tire and swirled it a bit, giving the tire a tire-type shine.

Bugaboo images come in such a fun range and I couldn't resist our team's selections this month.  Have fun and join in the challenge of Summer Fun.

This cute little pup is found at Bugaboo Stamps right here.

It's Cake O'Clock

I have one more card to share with you using a stamp from the Cake set from Jane's Doodles

I've used a free cake die that I picked up for $1 at my local magazine shop.  I cut it from some dusky pink and a silvery grey card.    I added a bit of watercolour behind the cake.

I've had fun this month with the lovely stamp set that I got from Jane's Doodles.   Still a few days for you to join our challenge.

Some Bunny Special

Cindy here to share another card using Jane's Doodle clear stamp - Spring set.  May challenge theme is: May Flower (tree, grass, plants all counts too).

For this card I used a floral panel and pass it through my die cut machine inside a die cut/embossing folder.  Since the floral panel is quite bright the embossing is not showing up well, to solve this issue I gently pressed a white pigment ink pad on the raised area to whiten the embossing.

Memento Dye Ink - Tuxedo Black
Hero Arts Pigment Ink - Unicorn

Jane's Doodle is our May sponsor.  Come join in the challenge, you could win a $30 gift certificate to the store.
